I believe technical analysis applies in very inefficient markets. SGX is one of these inefficient markets. There is insufficient volume and information is not released equally all the time. I prefer trading on breakouts and I can be a patient trader. I believe trading is for income. Investing is another story altogether (I believe in ETFs and index funds only). My win-loss ratio is 50-50. To win, I cut losses systematically and let profits ride. That's all.
