Hi, i’m Daryl a millennial who (Loves Whisky) and is just trying to achieve financial freedom just like everyone else.
When i was 13 i started my first part-time job giving out flyers earning $25/1000 pieces.
FAST FORWARD — At 18 years old, i started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and few more other books. Subsequently, Warren Buffet became my idol and not any other K-Pop Celebrity.
After having worked at least / more than 50 part-time jobs such as (Just to name a few) Dishwasher, Banquet Server, Valet Driver, Factory Worker, Salesman, Grab Driver, Security Guard, Deliveryman etc... (UP TILL NOW 2020) and with the knowledge of the books i read and the experience i accumulate in the streets (Tacit Knowledge). I REALISED TRADING TIME for MONEY is NOT a SOLUTION to FINANCIAL FREEDOM. (NO MATTER HOW HARD I WORKED)
At 19 years old, i started my investing journey and have been accumulating and subscribing to scrips offers since than. I have experienced many market crash, panic sell-offs and corrections but I strongly believe good business should grow with you and you should own more of them rather than sell them away for a one-off profit. I love WB’s Value Investing so when I see shares that i love on discount i am extremely happy to scoop as much as i can or even average down to have a greater margin of safety.
In 2019, apart from doing my regular full-time 9-5 job. I started up an alcohol business for my passion of drinking and appreciating (Whisky, Gins and beers!) which offers competitive prices!
