He graduated with a Master of Science, majoring in finance, degree and started his investing career in 1997 when the Asian Financial Crisis happened. Since then, he has joined companies like DBS Vickers Securities, Citi Private Bank, CIMB Bank and Standard Chartered Bank, assuming different roles across investment bank, private bank and retail bank.

Alan started his investment journey since 1997 when the Asian Financial Crisis happened. His career in the financial industry spans across different functions across different segments and major part of it is in investment banking i managing institutional accounts and bookrunning for both primary and secondary issue of securities. Deal origination was another area that he covered. He is passionate about the market and managing his own portfolio on a full-time basis with some side hustle. He is looking to empower fellow market enthusiast and share trading or investment ideas. After more than 20 years in the market, he has come to learn one thing, the market is humbling!
