Waste Connections, Inc. (WCI) is an integrated municipal solid waste (MSW), services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in the United States. The Company is a provider of non-hazardous exploration and production (E&P), waste treatment, recovery and disposal services in several of the most active natural resource producing areas of the United States. As of December 31, 2012, it served residential, commercial, industrial and E&P customers from a network of operations in 31 states, which include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. In March 2014, the Company incorporated a subsidiary company named Charge! Energy Storage, Inc.
