First Trust NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of an equity index called the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index (the Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index is the equal-weighted version of the NASDAQ-100 Index, which includes 100 of the largest non-financial securities listed on NASDAQ based on market capitalization. The Index contains the same securities as the NASDAQ-100 Index but each of the securities is initially set at a weight of 1% of the Index and is rebalanced quarterly.
