PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk is an Indonesia-based company primarily engaged in the distribution and transmission of natural gas. It classifies its business into four segments: transmission, distribution, oil and gas exploration and other operating segment. It operates its transmission segment together with its subsidiary, PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia. Its distribution segment distributes its natural gas to commercial, industrial and household users through its strategic business units (SBU), namely SBU Distribution Area I, II and III. Its oil and gas exploration segment is operated through PT Saka Energi Indonesia. The Company also operates its supporting businesses through its subsidiaries; PT PGAS Telekomunikasi Nusantara leases fiber optic network capacity, PT PGAS Solution provides engineering, construction, operation and maintenance services, while PT PGN LNG Indonesia is engaged in natural gas processing.
