It operates through the following segments: Sea Freight, Container Haulage, Air Freight, Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, and Marine Insurance. The Sea Freight segment organizes shipments for customers and overseas freight forwarded and manages bookings for cargo space for sea shipments. The Container Haulage segment offers land transportation services. The Air Freight segment plans and manages booking of cargo space for customer's air shipments. The Freight Forwarding segment coordinates and manages services provided by licensed forwarding agents, such as document preparation, liaising with government agencies for inspection and permit applications, custom clearance, and coordinating with port operators, shipping liners, airlines, and container haulage division for transportation of cargoes. The Warehousing segment focuses on the provision of general storage, consolidation and deconsolidation, transshipment of cargoes, and inventory management services. The Marine Insurance segment provides marine insurance services on the cargoes handled by the group. The company was founded by Gim Leong Lee, Ah Kim Lee, Han Seng Hew, and Choi Lai Sam on November 19, 1991 and is headquartered in Pulau Indah, Malaysia.
