inTEST Corporation is an independent designer, manufacturer and marketer of mechanical, thermal and electrical products that are used by semiconductor manufacturers in conjunction with automatic test equipment (ATE), in the testing of integrated circuits (ICs). The Company operates in three segments: Mechanical Products, Thermal Products and Electrical Products In addition, the Company had marketed its thermal products in industries outside the ATE industry, such as the automotive, aerospace and telecommunications industries. Within the ATE industry, it sells products both directly to semiconductor manufacturers and semiconductor test subcontractors and through ATE manufacturers. In industries outside the ATE industry, it sells products directly to the end user of the product.
