Ellomay Capital Ltd. (Ellomay) is engaged in the production of renewable energy through its ownership of the photovoltaic (PV) plants in Italy and Spain. As of March 15, 2012, all of the PV Plants, with an aggregate capacity of approximately 10.8 megawatt peak in Italy and of approximately 2.275 megawatt peak in Spain (owned by an 85% held subsidiary), are connected to the applicable national grid and operating. In addition, the Company has made several investments in Israel, mainly in the energy manufacturing and energy related field. Ellomay business lines include: ownership of several photovoltaic power plants in Italy; holdings in a project constructing Israel's private natural gas driven power station, and holdings in licenses for oil & gas exploration activities in the Mediterranean Sea. In July 2013, the Company closed the purchase of two photovoltaic (solar) sites (the PV Sites) in Veneto Region, north Italy.
