American Shared Hospital Services (ASHS) provides Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery equipment and radiation therapy and related equipment to 17 medical centers in 16 states in the United States and two medical centers in Turkey, as of March 1, 2014. It provides Gamma Knife services through its 81% indirect interest in GK Financing, LLC (GKF). The remaining 19% of GKF is owned by GKV Investments, Inc., which is a wholly owned United States subsidiary of Elekta AG (Elekta). Elekta is the manufacturer of the Leksell Gamma Knifea (the Gamma Knife). GKF is a non-exclusive provider of alternative financing services for Elekta Gamma Knife units. Gamma Knife revenue accounted for 92% of the Company�s revenue, during the year ended December 31, 2013. In June 2014, the Company announced that it has completed its sale of its Gamma Knife and Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) services business in Turkey to Euromedic Cancer Treatment Centers BV (Euromedic).
