Closed Blocks consists of three businesses where it has placed its portfolios in run-off-Closed Block Variable Annuity, Closed Block Institutional Spread Products and Closed Block Other. In March 2014, the Company announced that ING Groep N.V. (ING Group) completed the sale of shares in the Company. ING Group's ownership stake in the Company has been reduced to approximately 43%.
