United Natural Foods, Inc. is a distributor of natural, organic and specialty foods and non-food products in the United States and Canada. It carries more than 65,000 natural, organic and specialty products, consisting of national, regional and private label brands in six product categories: grocery and general merchandise, produce, perishables and frozen foods, nutritional supplements and sports nutrition, bulk and foodservice products and personal care items. Its operations consist of three operating divisions: wholesale division, which includes its natural, organic and specialty distribution business in the United States; UNFI Canada, which is its natural, organic and specialty business in Canada; Albert's Organics, Inc. and Select Nutrition; retail division, consisting of EOM, which operates its 13 natural products retail stores within the United States. In July 2014, the Company acquired all of stock of Tony's Fine Foods, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
