Teekay Tankers Ltd. is an international provider of marine transportation to global oil industries. The Company�s business is to own crude oil and product tankers. The Company is wholly owned subsidiary of Teekay Corporation. The Company�s operations are managed by Teekay Tankers Management Services Ltd., a subsidiary of Teekay Corporation, which provides to it commercial, technical, administrative and strategic services. As of February 1, 2013, the Company�s fleet consisted of 30 vessels, including chartered-in vessels, and newbuildings on order. The Company owns a fleet of double-hull Aframax tankers, double-hull Suezmax tankers, product tankers and one very large crude carrier (VLCC). As of December 31, 2012, the Company owned 28 double-hulled conventional oil tankers, time-chartered in one Aframax vessel from a third party and owned a 50% interest in one VLCC newbuilding.
