Radian Group Inc. (Radian Group) is a credit enhancement company with a primary strategic focus on domestic residential mortgage insurance on first-lien loans (first-lien). The Company has two operating business segments: mortgage insurance and financial guaranty. The Company�s mortgage insurance segment provides credit-related insurance coverage, principally through private mortgage insurance, and risk management services to mortgage lending institutions. The Company�s financial guaranty segment previously offered direct insurance and reinsurance on credit-based risks, and also offered credit protection on various asset classes through financial guarantees and credit default swaps (CDS). In July 2014, the Company acquired Clayton Holdings LLC.
