Ormat Technologies, Inc. (Ormat) is a holding company. Ormat is engaged in the geothermal and recovered energy power business. The Company designs, develops, builds, owns, and operates geothermal and recovered energy-based power plants. Its geothermal power plants include both power plants that it has built and power plants that Ormat has acquired, while all of its recovered energy-based plants has been constructed by the Company. The Company operates in two segments: Electricity Segment and Product Segment. During the year ended December 31, 2011, Ormat�s Electricity Segment represented approximately 74.1% of its total revenues, while the Company�s Product Segment represented approximately 25.9% of its total revenues. On February 3, 2011, Ormat sold to 25% interest in OPC LLC to JPM Capital Corporation. In June 2013, the Company 's subsidiary sells stake in Momotombo Power Company.
