The Company’s specialty chemicals products serve as inputs used in a range of high performance applications, including asphalt paving, oil exploration and production, agrochemicals, adhesives, lubricants and printing inks. It is also engaged in expanding Warm Mix Asphalt (WAM) with its Evotherm family of products. Its Performance Chemicals segment primarily addresses applications in over three product families: pavement technologies, oilfield technologies and industrial specialties. It engineers, manufactures and sells wood-based, chemically activated carbon products, produced through a technical process, primarily for use in gasoline vapor emission control systems in cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats. The Company sells its automotive carbon products to over 60 customers across the globe.
