The Mexico Equity and Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek high total return through capital appreciation and current income by investing at least 80% of the Fund�s assets in equity and convertible securities issued by Mexican companies and debt securities of Mexican issuers. The Fund invests all of its assets in foreign securities of Mexican issuers. Pichardo Asset Management, S.A. de C.V. serves as the Fund�s Investment Adviser. U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC (USBFS), an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp, serves as the Fund�s Administrator. U.S. Bank, N.A. serves as the Fund�s custodian.
