The Company conducts all of its activities through Highwoods Realty Limited Partnership (the Operating Partnership). Its properties and development land are located in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In August 2013, Highwoods Properties, Inc. acquired its joint venture partner's 57% interest in Glenlake North and South Towers.
