In May 2014, it acquired South Point Kia in Austin, Texas. In July 2014, it acquired Munday Chevrolet and Munday Mazda. In July 2014, it disposed of its Honda dealership in Freehold, New Jersey. Effective August 19, 2014, Group 1 Automotive Inc acquired Mercedes Benz of Boerne.
