Global Partners LP is engaged in purchasing, storing, terminalling, transporting and selling refined petroleum products, renewable fuels and crude oil. The Company operates in two segments: Wholesale and Commercial. It is a wholesale distributor of gasoline (including blendstocks, such as ethanol and naphtha), distillates (such as home heating oil, diesel and kerosene), residual oil and renewable fuels to wholesalers, retailers and commercial customers in the New England states and New York. The Company owns and supplies fuel to Mobil-branded retail gas stations in the New England states (except Connecticut) and also supply Mobil-branded fuel in those same states to independently-owned stations and to other Mobil distributors. On March 1, 2012, it acquired Alliance Energy LLC. In February 2013, it announced the completion of its acquisition of 100% interests of Cascade Kelly Holdings LLC.
