Western Asset Global Corporate Defined Opportunity Fund Inc.(the Fund) is a non-diversified, limited-term, closed-end management investment company. The Fund�s primary investment objective is to provide current income. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing 80% of its managed assets in a portfolio of the United States and foreign corporate fixed-income securities of varying maturities. The Fund will invest at least 40% of its managed assets in fixed-income securities of foreign issuers organized or having a principal place of business outside the United States, including in emerging market countries. In addition, the Fund may invest up to 35% of its managed assets in fixed-income securities of below investment grade quality.
