Dow 30 Premium & Dividend Income Fund Inc. (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund�s investment objective is to provide stockholders with a high level of current income, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund pursues its investment objectives principally through a two-part strategy. First, the Fund will invest all of its net assets (including the proceeds of any borrowings for investment purposes) in the 30 stocks included in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) (the Stocks) in approximately the amounts such Stocks are weighted in the DJIA and/or in other securities or financial instruments that it seeks to correlate with the DJIA (the Other Instruments). Second, the Fund will write (sell) covered call options on some or all of the Stocks or Other Instruments. Nuveen Fund Advisors, Inc. (Nuveen Fund Advisors) serves as the Fund�s investment adviser.
