Easterly Government Properties, Inc. is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and management of Class A commercial properties. Its objective is to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for its stockholders over the long term through dividends and capital appreciation. The Company has developed projects comprising approximately 4.2 million square feet, including 36 projects for the general services administration (GSA), as well as other corporate and government tenants. The Company�s United States Government tenants are the Drug Enforcement Administration, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, The Internal Revenue Service, and The Patent and Trademark Office. Its private tenants include Parbel of Florida, a subsidiary of LOreal SA, United Technologies, LifePoint, Inc. and Lummus Corporation. The Company�s portfolio consists of 15 properties provided by the Easterly Funds and 14 properties provided by Western Devcon.
