BlackRock Limited Duration Income Trust (the Trust) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Trust's investment objective is to provide current income and capital appreciation. The Fund invests in three distinct asset classes: intermediate duration, investment grade corporate bonds, mortgage-related securities, asset-backed securities and United States Government and agency securities; senior, secured floating rate loans made to corporate and other business entities, and US dollar-denominated securities of United States and non-United States issuers rated below investment grade and, to a limited extent, non-US dollar denominated securities of non-US issuers rated below investment grade. The Trust's investment advisor is BlackRock Advisors, Inc. and its sub-advisor is BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., both of which are wholly owned subsidiaries of BlackRock, Inc.
