Westamerica Bancorporation is a bank holding company. The Company provides a range of banking services to individual and corporate customers in Northern and Central California through its subsidiary bank, Westamerica Bank (WAB or the Bank). The principal communities served are located in Northern and Central California, from Mendocino, Lake and Nevada Counties in the north to Kern County in the south. In addition, the Bank owns 100% of the capital stock of Community Banker Services Corporation (CBSC), which provides the Company and its subsidiaries with data processing services and other support functions. Westamerica Bank is engaged in the banking business through 95 branch offices in 21 counties in Northern and Central California. As of December 31, 2012, the Company had consolidated assets of approximately $5.0 billion, deposits of approximately $4.2 billion and shareholders� equity of approximately $560.1 million.
