U.S. Energy Corp. (U.S. Energy) is an independent energy company focused on the acquisition and development of oils and gas producing properties in the continental United States and other mineral properties. The Company's oil and gas business is focused in the Rocky Mountain region (specifically the Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana), Louisiana and Texas. The Company operates in two segments: Oil and gases and Maintenance of Mineral Properties (including molybdenum and geothermal). In September 2013, US Energy Corp announced that it has closed the sale of its Remington Village apartment complex located in Gillette, Wyoming. In June 2014, it sold certain of its Williston Basin assets.
