Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. (Seanergy), is an international provider of dry bulk marine transportation services. The Company provides worldwide seaborne transportation of dry bulk commodities. As of December 31, 2011, it owned and operated a total fleet of 20 dry bulk carrier vessels, consisting of four Capesize, three Panamax, two Supramax, one Handymax and 10 Handysize vessels. These ships have a combined carrying capacity of 1,295,594 deadweight ton (dwt) and an average age of approximately 14.3 years. The Company generates revenues by charging customers for the transportation of dry bulk cargo using our vessels. On June 12, 2012, the Company sold the BET Scouter. In July 2013, Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. closed its agreement to sell through its wholly owned subsidiary, Maritime Capital Shipping Limited a 100% ownership interest in its three vessel-owning subsidiaries.
