Origin Agritech Limited (Origin) is a technology-focused crop seed company serving mainland China. Company�s activities include the specialization in the research and development, production, and sales and marketing of crop seeds (corn, rice, cotton, and canola) throughout the People's Republic of China (PRC). As of September 30, 2013, Origin operates 10 breeding stations, five production and processing centers, and four marketing centers nationwide with sales centers located in key crop-planting regions. As of September 2013, it had 35 corn seed products, 14 rice seed products and five canola seed products that are in commercial production and distribution. The Company�s main products include hybrid corn and rice seeds.
