Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is a fabless semiconductor company that designs, develops and markets analog and mixed-signal semiconductors. The Company combines advanced process technology with its analog designers to produce high-performance power management integrated circuits (ICs) for direct current (DC) to DC converters and Lighting Control Products. The Company's products are used in computing and network communications products, flat panel television (TVs), set top boxes and a range of consumer and portable electronics products, automotive and industrial markets. As of December 31, 2012, the Company has two primary product families that address multiple applications within the computing, consumer electronics, communications, and industrial/automotive markets. The product families include Direct Current (DC) to DC Converters and Lighting Control Products and AC/DC Offline Solutions. In July 2014, it acquired Sensima Technology SA (Sensima).
