Highway Holdings Limited is a holding company. The Company, as of March 31, 2013, conducted all its operations through five controlled subsidiaries that carry out the Company�s business from Hong Kong and the Company�s sole factory in Shenzhen, China. The Company is primarily a fully integrated manufacturer of metal, plastic, electric and electronic components, subassemblies and finished products for Japanese, German and United States original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract manufacturers. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013, the Company�s manufacturing activities were conducted through its factory in Long Hua, Shenzhen, China. The Company operates in two segments: its metal stamping and mechanical OEM operations, and its electric OEM operations (that include its plastic operations).
