Hanmi Financial Corporation (Hanmi Financial) is a holding company for Hanmi Bank (the Bank). The Bank is a community bank conducting general business banking, with its primary market encompassing the Korean-American community, as well as other communities in the multi-ethnic populations of Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, the San Francisco Bay area, and the Silicon Valley area in Santa Clara County. The Bank�s client base reflects the multi-ethnic composition of these communities. At December 31, 2011, the Bank maintained a branch network of 27 full-service branch offices in California and one loan production office (LPO) in Washington. The Bank�s revenues are derived from interest and fees on its loans, interest and dividends on its securities portfolio, and service charges on deposit accounts. In September 2014, the Company acquired Central Bancorp, Inc., the parent company of United Central Bank.
