U.S. Global Investors, Inc. (U.S. Global) is an investment adviser. The Company and its subsidiaries are principally engaged in the business of providing investment advisory and other services to the United States Global Investors Funds (USGIF or the Funds), a Delaware statutory trust, as well as offshore clients. As part of the mutual fund management business, the Company provides investment advisory services; transfer agency and record keeping services; distribution services, and administrative services to mutual funds advised by the Company. The fees from investment advisory and transfer agent services, as well as investment income, are the primary sources of the Company's revenue. In addition to providing management and advisory services, the Company is actively engaged in trading for its own account. Effective June 30, 2014, U.S. Global raised its interest to 65% from 50% in Galileo Global Equity Advisors Inc.
