Diodes Incorporated is a global manufacturer and supplier of application specific standard products within the discrete, logic and analog semiconductor markets, serving the consumer electronics, computing, communications, industrial and automotive markets. These products include diodes, rectifiers, transistors, metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFETs), protection devices, functional specific arrays, single gate logic, amplifiers and comparators, Hall-effect and temperature sensors, power management devices, including light emitting device (LED) drivers, direct current to direct current (DC-DC) switching and linear voltage regulators, and voltage references along with special function devices, such as universal serial bus (USB) power switches, load switches, voltage supervisors, and motor controllers. On August 31, 2012, it acquired approximately 51% of the common stock of Eris. On October 29, 2012, the Company acquired Power Analog Microelectronics, Inc. (PAM).
