Carolina Trust Bank (the Bank) is a state-chartered bank. The primary purpose of the Bank is to serve the banking needs of individuals and businesses in Lincoln County and surrounding areas. The Bank offers a range of banking services, including checking and savings accounts; commercial, installment, mortgage, and personal loans; safe deposit boxes, and other associated services. It is a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. The Bank�s loans consist of commercial real estate loans, commercial loans, residential mortgage loans and home equity lines. Loans are primarily originated for customers residing in Lincoln, Gaston and Catawba Counties in North Carolina. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Bank�s investment securities included the United States Government Agencies (Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLB) Bonds), Government sponsored MBS, municipal securities, and corporate debt securities.
