The Company operates in two segments: agricultural operations and non agricultural operations. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Alico Land Development, Inc. (ALDI), is responsible for seeking and maintaining appropriate government entitlements. In November 2013, 734 Agriculture, LLC and Alico, Inc announced that affiliates of 734 Agriculture completed the acquisition of approximately 50.5% interest in Alico, Inc.
