Addus HomeCare Corporation, is a provider of home and community based services, which are primarily social in nature and are provided in the home, focused on the dual eligible population. Its services include personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, and adult day care. Its consumers are individuals with special needs who are at risk of hospitalization or institutionaliz ation, such as the elderly, chronically ill and disabled. Its payor clients include federal, state and local governmental agencies, commercial insurers and private individuals. The Company provides home and community based services through over 96 locations across 19 states to over 25,000 consumers. Effective as of December 1, 2013, the Company announced that it has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Coordinated Home Health Care, LLC and certain of its subsidiaries. In June 2014, Addus HomeCare Corp acquired CURA Partners, LLC (D/B/A Aid & Assist at Home, LLC).
