P.I.E. Industrial Berhad (424086-X), hereinafter referred to as PIEIB, was incorporated in Malaysia on 21 March 1997, under the name of P.I.E Industrial Sdn Bhd. It was subsequently converted to a public limited company on 30 May 1997, thus assuming its present name. PIEIB is the holding company of Pan-International Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (PIESB), PIE Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd (PIE Enterprise), Pan-International Corporation (S) Pte Ltd (PIS), Pan-International Wire & Cable (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (PIWSB), P.I.W. Enterprise (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (PIW Enterprise), and Pan-International Electronics (Thailand) Co Ltd (PIT). The PIEIB Group started off with the manufacturing and assembly of cable and wire and has since 1996 added on fabrication of moulds and dies, PCB assembly using precision SMT, plastic injection moulding and Class 10K and l00K clean room product assembly and testing of electronic products. PIEIB Group's customers are mostly subsidiaries of multinational companies involved in the production of computer, telecommunication and electronic products. Almost 100% of PIEIB Group's products are exported directly or indirectly through these multinational companies mainly to USA, Europe and Asia Pacific region.
