PETRONAS Gas Berhad, was incorporated as a private limited company on 23 May 1983, under the Companies Act, 1965 of Malaysia, and was converted to a public limited liability company on 28 March 1995. PETRONAS, the national oil company holds 60.63% equity in the Company, which was listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 4 September 1995. In the 25 years of incorporation, the Company played a prominent role in the gas business value chain providing gas processing and transmission services to PETRONAS through two of its divisions. The Plant Operations Division (POD) handles all activities pertaining to the processing of feed gas whilst the Transmission Operations Division (TOD) is responsible for the transmission and delivery of sales gas to end customers throughout the peninsula.
