Oriental Interest Berhad ("OIB or "the Company") was incorporated in Malaysia on 3 August 1993 under the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company under the name of Oriental Interest Sdn. Bhd. The Company was converted to a public limited on 22 December 1993 and adopted its present name. The principle activities of the Company are investment holding and Provision of management services. The company was officially listed on the Main Market of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now know as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad "Bursa Securities") on 18th October 1994.
