Subsequently, Benalec were converted to a public limited company and assumed their present name on 29 Sept 2010. BENALEC Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1978 as a contracting company specialized in undertaking civil engineering projects. BENALEC GROUP was form to realize an objective to become an integrated, one-stop centre for marine construction services.
