The company was incorporated in Malaysia on 18 March 2008 under the Act as a public limited company under the name of TAS Offshore Berhad. It was incorporated as an investment holding company to facilitate the Listing and commenced operations as an investment holding company through the acquisition of Tuong Aik Shipyard Sendirian Berhad (TAS) on 3 April 2009. Through the wholly-owned subsidiary, TAS, the company is involved in shipbuilding and ship repairing.
