Samchem was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1965 on 13 January 1989. Samchem started out as an industrial chemical distributor, specialising on PU chemicals with our office located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. By 1994, the company relocated its office and warehouse to a light industrial terrace office in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. As business continue to grow, Samchem has eventually formed three business units; PU, Intermediate, and Specialty. During the Asian financial crisis in 1997, the company was able to weather it well and have seized the opportunity to secure even more distributorship agreements with world renowned chemical suppliers.
