The Company's name was changed from Guinness Anchor Berhad to Heineken Malaysia Berhad on 21 April 2016 following Heineken NV's acquisition of Diageo Plc's stakes in GAPL in October 2015. GAPL is a 100% owned subsidiary of Heineken NV.
