Ascot Resources Limited (Ascot) is an Australia-based coal and iron ore exploration and development company with ventures in Colombia (coal) and Australia (iron ore). The Company is focused on exploring and developing opportunities in steel making minerals. The Company operates through two segments: Colombia, which includes prospective coal permits, and Australia, which includes prospective iron ore permits. Its Wonmunna Iron Ore Project (Wonmunna) is located in the iron ore-rich Pilbara region, approximately 70 kilometers northwest of Newman along the Great Northern Highway, and approximately 360 kilometers south of Port Hedland. The Wonmunna comprises three mining leases and one exploration license. In addition, Ascot holds interest in the Titiribi Coal Project located in the Department of Antioquia, Colombia. The Titiribi Coal Project is located approximately 70 kilometers from State Capital Medellin and is close proximity to utilities and infrastructure.
