Code of Participation:
1. Participants must be responsible adults 18 years of age or older.
2. Only Malaysian university students with a valid student ID are allowed to participate in the competition and eligible for the top 10 prizes.
3. Participants that do not comply with the Virtual Investment Game 2.0’s Code of Participation will be removed from the portfolio rankings.
4. The authority to remove a team from the rankings lies solely with the team's Virtual Investment Game 2.0.
5. Each participant is responsible for any opening or closing transactions entered into its portfolio. Any form of abuse, hacks or cheating is strongly prohibited. Those who are against the Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.
6. Participants are NOT ALLOWED to post any offensive/sensitive comments or to reveal their personal information online e.g., via their username, etc.
7. The winners of the challenge have to agree with the InvestingNote verification procedures.
8. Only transactions stored on the InvestingNote database will be recognized for purposes of evaluating portfolio total equity.

Tournament Rules:
1. Each participant will begin with RM 100,000 virtual capital to invest in Bursa Malaysia. Participants are required to build a simulated investment portfolio with a virtual initial capital of one hundred thousand Ringgit Malaysia (RM100,000) through trading predefined securities products listed on Bursa within the period.
2. Tradable securities are only Bursa listed stocks for the purpose of this tournament. Warrant trading is excluded from this competition.
3. All transactions are made based on daily closing prices.
4. Only Market Orders can be placed – participants will have to monitor the market actively to buy and sell. No advanced order is allowed.
5. Trades can only be executed as a whole and will be denied if there is insufficient buying power to complete the entire order.
6. A 0.1% commission fee is charged for all transactions.
7. The game runs from Monday to Friday. Participants may trade on any day the participating stock markets are open. Orders may be entered 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
8. The trading hours will be adjusted for 30 seconds to cater for the pre-market open matching-period. The challenge trading hours on trading days are listed below:
● Bursa 1st session （9:00:30am – 12.29:30pm）
● Bursa 2nd session (2:30:30pm – 4:44:30pm)
9. In the case of a halt or suspension of a stock, it will not be tradable.
10. Short selling of stocks is not permitted.
11. No margin account is allowed.
12. In the event that any securities products in the participant’s portfolio is suspended and halted at any point in time during the Game Period, the holdings of these securities will be calculated based on the last bid price offered by the market maker.
13. Only realized profits will be taken into account at the end of the game. In the case of open positions not closed out by the end of the game, the last bid price offered by the market maker will be used to calculate the gain/loss.
14. During the game period, a leaderboard showing the most updated results of participants will be shown. The leaderboard will be updated periodically.
15. During the game period, the participants’ portfolios will be set to ‘public’ and will be visible to external visitors.
16. All registered participants will be automatically added into a private group “Virtual Investment Game 2.0” to access more information on the tournament and other details on InvestingNote.com.
17. Participants do not have to liquidate their portfolios at the end of the Game. Winners will be determined based on the highest account balance/ total return/ profit at the end of the final transaction day.
18. Only complete trades can be processed. There are no partial fills in this game.

20. 3 of the top 10 traders will be given an opportunity to share their opinion via Zoom meeting.
21. The organizer reserves the right to change the game rules, prizes, and winners, including the right to review any suspicious activity.

- "Virtual Investment Game 2.0" is a training challenge that provides a platform for students to prepare themselves in the finance and investment industry in the future.

2. What is the purpose of the Virtual Investment Game 2.0?
- To enhance the stock investment skill and knowledge, create awareness about the responsibilities of a stock investor, enhance students’ analytical and decision-making skills, provide an opportunity to learn knowledge that is not covered in academic courses and help students that are interested in stock trading to get a better insight.

-The game period will begin from 6th June 2022 (9:00 am) to 17th June 2022 (5:00 pm).

4. When is the registration deadline for this event?
-Registration will begin from 17th May 2022 and it will be closed on 2nd June 2022 23.59pm.

5. Is there any real money in Virtual Investment Game 2.0?
- No. All transactions executed by participants will only involve virtual money.

- This event will be held virtually.

8. If I’m not a UKM student, can I participate in this event?
- Yes, all Malaysian university students with a valid student ID will be eligible to participate in this event.

9. If I’m not register with the google form, can I participate in this event?
- Yes, but you are not eligible to get the prize if you are one of the top 10 winners.

10. What are the simulation platform's trading hours and how do I get access to the platform?
- Participants are able to place new orders and amend orders during market opening hours from 09:00 am - 12:30 pm, and 02:30 pm - 05:00 pm. No trading activities are allowed during the market closed period.
- A reminder message will be sent to the participants before the simulation starts.

11. Is attending the investment talk compulsory?
- It is not compulsory to attend the investment talk, participants may either join one of the events or both. We encourage participants to join both of the events.

12. Can I participate if I have zero knowledge of the stock market?
- Yes, one of the objectives of this event is to provide a platform for students to prepare themselves for careers in the finance and investment industry in the future. An Investment Talk will be provided to let participants gain knowledge in investment.

13. Will there be a limitation on the number of participants?
- There is no limitation on the number of participants.

- Participants are required to participate as an individual.
