The participants will trade stocks virtually on InvestingNote platform, and the platform will track all the stock trading records as well as profit and loss.
The top 3 winners with the highest return will be awarded cash prizes:

Code of Participation:
1. Participants must be responsible adults 18 years of age or older.
2. Only Malaysian university students with a valid student ID are allowed to participate in the competition and eligible for the top 3 prize & lucky draw award.
3. Participants that do not comply with the Stock Simulation Challenge’s Code of Participation will be removed from the portfolio rankings.
4. The authority to remove a team from the rankings lies solely with the team's Stock Simulation Challenge.
5. Each participant is responsible for any opening or closing transactions entered into its portfolio. Any form of abuse, hacks or cheating is strongly prohibited. Those who are against the Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.
6. Participants may not enter transactions into portfolios other than their own. (Please note that when a team asserts that a transaction was entered by a non-member of that team, the team will nevertheless be ranked based on their portfolio's total equity, which will include the challenged transaction.)
7. Participants are NOT ALLOWED to post any offensive/sensitive comments or to reveal their personal information online e.g., via their username, etc.
8. The winners of the challenge have to agree with the InvestingNote verification procedures.
9. Only transactions stored on the InvestingNote database will be recognized for purposes of evaluating portfolio total equity.

Rules:
1. Each participant will begin with RM 100,000 virtual capital to invest in Bursa Malaysia. Participants are required to build a simulated investment portfolio with a virtual initial capital of one hundred thousand Ringgit Malaysia (RM100,000) through trading predefined securities products listed on Bursa within the period.
2. Tradable securities are only Bursa listed stocks for the purpose of this tournament. Warrant trading is excluded from this competition.
3. All transactions are made based on daily closing prices.
4. Teams cannot trade over the counter or “pink sheet” stocks since they often price incorrectly.
5. Only Market Orders can be placed – participants will have to monitor the market actively to buy and sell. No advanced order is allowed.
6. Trades can only be executed as a whole and will be denied if there is insufficient buying power to complete the entire order.
7. A 0.1% commission fee is charged for all transactions.
8. The Challenge runs from Monday to Friday. Teams may trade on any day the participating stock markets are open. Orders may be entered 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
9. The trading hours of the challenge will be adjusted for 30 seconds to cater for the pre-market open matching period.
10. The trading hours of the challenge on trading days are listed below:
•Bursa 1st session (9:00:30am - 12:29:30pm)
•Bursa 2nd session (2:30:30pm - 4.44:30pm)
11. In the case of a halt or suspension of a stock, it will not be tradable.
12. In the event that any securities products in the participant’s portfolio are suspended and halted at any point in time during the Campaign Period, the holdings of these securities will be calculated based on the last bid price offered by the market maker.
13. Short selling of stocks is not permitted.
14. No margin account is allowed.
15. Only realised profits will be taken into account at the end of the campaign. In the case of open positions not closed out by the end of the Campaign, the last bid price offered by the market maker will be used to calculate the gain/loss.
16. During the Campaign Period, a leaderboard showing the most updated results of participants will be shown. The leaderboard will be updated periodically.
17. During the Campaign period, the participants’ portfolios will be set to ‘public’ and will be visible to external visitors.
18. All registered participants will be automatically added into a private group “Trade IT till you make IT” to access more information on the tournament and other details on InvestingNote.com.
19. Participants do not have to liquidate their portfolios at the end of The Game. Winners will be determined based on the highest account balance/ total return/ profit at the end of the final transaction day.
20. Only complete trades can be processed. There are no partial fills in this game.
21. All participants must be registered with google form in order to participate. Otherwise, they will be disqualified.

- "Stock Simulation Challenge" is a training challenge by provide a platform for students to prepare themselves in the finance and investment industry in the future.

- To enhance the stock investment skill and knowledge, create awareness about the responsibilities of a stock investor, enhance students’ analytical and decision-making skills, provide an opportunity to learn knowledge that is not covered in academic courses and help students that are interested in stock trading to get a better insight.

2) Is there any real money in Stock Simulation Challenge?
- No. All transactions executed by participants will only involve virtual money.

3) What is the duration of the challenge?
- The challenge period will begin from 14 February 2022(9 am) to 27 March 2022(5pm).
