Cavco Industries, Inc. is a producer of manufactured homes in the United States. The Company designs and produces factory-built homes primarily distributed through a network of independent and Company-owned retailers, planned community operators and residential developers. The Company is a builder of park model homes, vacation cabins, and systems-built commercial structures, as well as modular homes. The Company operates principally in two segments: factory-built housing, which includes wholesale and retail systems-built housing operations and financial services, which includes manufactured housing consumer finance and insurance. As of March 30, 2013, the Company distributed its homes through 50 Company-owned retail outlets and a network of approximately 980 independent distribution points in 44 states, Canada, Mexico and Japan.
