Atwood Oceanics, Inc. is a global offshore drilling contractor engaged in the drilling and completion of exploratory and developmental oil and gas wells. The Company owns 13 mobile offshore drilling units and is constructing three ultra-deepwater drillships. As of November 1, 2013, the Company�s rig fleet included Atwood Condor, Atwood Osprey, Atwood Eagle, Atwood Falcon, Atwood Hunter, Atwood Mako, Atwood Orca, Atwood Beacon, Atwood Aurora, Vicksburg and Atwood Southern Cross. As of November 1, 2013, the Company�s new build projects included Atwood Advantage, Atwood Achiever, Atwood Admiral and Atwood Archer. The Atwood Advantage, Atwood Achiever, Atwood Admiral and Atwood Archer are DP-3 dynamically-positioned, dual derrick, ultra-deepwater drillships rated to operate in water depths up to 12,000 feet.
