Is Sapphire impacted as China tightens debts and cuts its spending on infrastructure?
.
China's infrastructure development is already the best in the world in terms of coverage, and reach, as well as penetration. It have more rail and highways than anyone else in the world. The slowdown rail and highway is prudent before they reach an overkill. The emphasis in the rail, road, air, sea is now in the airport area. The Jingjinji will need three airports or expansion in Beijing where they are building a new airport to take 130 m passengers, it is for international routes. The Tianjin airport will be for logistics and warehousing, basically trade related activities. A big new domestic airport is expect to be built in the XiongAn area for local flights. XiongAn is in the JingJinJi new mega city and is in Hebei
.
However if you look at infrastructure as only road, rail, air, sea. then the slowdown applies...then you also miss a big portion. The shift of infrastructure spending will go towards town planning --- in which the following will be the focus ---green. New "pilot" sponge city projects are identified for 16 cities, where all rain water will be channeled into water catchment area, underground waste treatment planned, together with underground roads and rail.
.
What then can Sapphire mitigate the impact and stay relevant?
Sapphire is positioned with Beijing Water and China Rail to tap this sponge city program. We sh see more shift in this direction as well as to the smart city arena.
.
Let us see 2018 will hold for long suffering retail investors in this counter.

Reply to @Takodoro : i dun think u can infer anything from market depth. because there is many invisible order in the depth in the sense that only when u hit certain price then the order fly in and these are called the BB orders. if u are a bb, will u queue and let ppl see? and those BB queue to let u see is to fool u. that what i conclude after hearing ppl in IN talk about market depth.
