Reply to @bransonlee : I know this from the first day of the launch. You see the newspaper report, many drivers intent to stop using Uber flash, but had any one mentioned not to rent taxis from CDG? I can't read it from the report. So this news is not negative to CDG as rental income still flow into their coffers. In fact CDG gives $5 rental discount per day to taxi drivers who login to Uber flash. What we need to watch out for is Grab's counterattack, counter offer to lure CDG drivers across, but as I mentioned before, there is really no inventive for CDG drivers to jump ship now, as some are already using Grab apps, plus CDG call center and street hails. CDG taxi drivers are the only drivers in Singapore who have 4 sources of jobs. From Grab, Uber flash, CDG call centre and street hail, I don't think they will jump ship to Grab.
